EMPLOYEE FEATURE: CASSIE INMAN

For Cassie Inman, a sales representative out of Hayden, Idaho, balancing her work and family life took on a whole new meaning when her daughter was born.

Cassie started her career with Western States five years ago as a Heavy Rents Coordinator. While working in that position she met her husband, Brent Inman, and has since relocated to the Hayden branch and taken on the role of an Inside Sales Rep.

“I was a little nervous to get into a sales position. I had A LOT to learn and continue to learn more and more every day,” she said.

Cassie has nailed some great deals along the way, including selling the first Cat AD22 underground mining truck to be sold in the U.S.

“Every day that I can keep up with the guys and keep up with their sales, I am pretty proud!” she said.

Since the birth of her daughter, Alayna, in 2019, Cassie says she’s had to re-discover what it means to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

“I am definitely still trying to figure out this piece of life after Alayna,” she said. “I am fortunate enough to have a great team and coworkers, family and friends that help me everyday to find that work/life balance.”
