Where can you find skeletons, pirates and heavy equipment all in one place?

The Western States first annual Track or Treat event, of course!

Western States team hosted our first annual Track or Treat community event in Meridian last month. Families were invited to bring their children for an October evening of safe trick-or-treating, featuring Cat equipment decked out for Halloween. Our employees teamed up to create 15 festive displays ranging from a walk-in Barbie box to an Angry Birds-themed catapult. 

The community came out in full force to enjoy the event! Two food trucks served up hot drinks and treats to families while trick-or-treaters collected candy from each machine display. A large wheel loader and a semi truck were available for a Touch-a-Truck, and the Meridian Fire Department even made a guest appearance with a fire truck for children to see up close! Kids also received reflective Western States trick-or-treat bags to use at the event and on Halloween to help keep them safe. The evening ended with a short equipment parade as the Western States team loaded the machine back into the equipment yard for the night.

We want to sincerely thank the many employees who dedicated their time and creativity to planning such a fun and safe event, and a thank you to everyone who joined us– it wouldn’t be a successful event without participation from our community. We’ll see you at next year’s Track or Treat!
