We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our Western States Machine and Technology Demo held this week at Idaho State University (ISU). This exclusive, hands-on event provided attendees with a unique opportunity to experience the cutting-edge construction machinery and innovative technology that Cat has to offer.

Machine and Technology Demo Highlights

Attendees participated in both classroom-style learning and hands-on outdoor demonstrations. Topics included:
  • Dozer with GPS Machine Control: Participants got valuable stick time, witnessing firsthand how precision control enhances efficiency.
  • Skid Steer with GPS Grader Blade: Attendees experienced the seamless integration of GPS technology in action.
  • Excavator with 2D and 3D Grade Control: The advanced grade control systems proved their worth by optimizing excavation tasks.
  • Drone Surveying Demo: The future of site surveying was showcased with our cutting-edge drone technology.
  • VisionLink Fleet Management: Guests learned how to effectively track and manage their fleet.

Building Our Community for a Better Tomorrow

Western States Cat and the Cat Rental Store have been long-time supporters of the Idaho State University Track and Field team. Our equipment and sponsorship helped to build their original cross-country course in 2002, and now, in 2025, Cat rental equipment and technology have once again played a crucial role in upgrading the course.
