The Western States Cat Tech Academy provides students with the education and hands-on training needed to become successful diesel technicians. This program is ideal for individuals with no prior industry experience, looking to start building a career as a diesel technician.
In just 10 months, you will gain the skills and knowledge needed to take on your role as an apprentice technician. This program consists of 8 months of in-classroom education followed by a 2 month-paid internship. Students will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts the skills that are required for a long and rewarding career as a diesel technician.
Tech Academy is located in Kimberly, ID.

Final candidate selection and academy enrollment.

PAID INTERNSHIP

After 8 months of classroom training, you’ll be ready for your 2-month full-time paid internship. Learning hands on the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful diesel technician.

TOOLS SUPPLIED
- Students are provided with tools to use during the academy. Everything the tech academy students will need to successfully complete the program is provided by Western States Cat.

SAFETY & UNIFORMS
- Western States Cat will provide students with the uniforms/coveralls and personal protective equipment required to complete the program (excluding safety boots).
